Can pet rats eat juniper berries?

Hi there. I just bought some juniper berries (by Schwarz, the company that sells herbs and spices). I bought them for myself, as I like to cook, but was wondering if they would be safe to feed to my pet rats? I know berries are generally very healthy for rats but I was wondering if this particular berry would be harmful or beneficial. Please let me know if you have the answer.

Thanks. Can pet rats eat juniper berries?
Well, unless you die from eating juniper berries (which you don't, unless you choke on them, which is very unlikely), then rats can eat juniper berries (and, since they can eat peanuts and not choke on them, they won't choke)

However, it does cause miscarraiges in rats.

and lowers blood pressure

and decreases their glucose levels

and irritates their kidneys.

maybe not.Can pet rats eat juniper berries?
