Sorry, I think they are gross.Do rats sound appealing to anyone?
I love my ratties. They are not gross and are very appealing as pets. They are extremely clean. Their tails take a little getting used to but after a while you get used to it.Do rats sound appealing to anyone?
heck no...groose to the max. go for a hampster even tho they are weird also. dont git a rat just cuz of the movie bout rats because it would just be stupid. then again eveyone is diff so go with what makes you happy.
They make wonderful pets. Especially for kids. They're very dog-like in personality. They can learn tricks, they can learn their name, they love people, they don't mind being awakened during the day, they're very friendly. When handled properly then never bite, and they're not quite as fragile as some of the smaller pocket pets.
They are intelligent but gross. :)
I like rats. I've been around several and they were quite smart and quite affectionate. The Dumbo Rats are just tooo cute!
Yes. I love rats, they are soo cute and smart. Of course only fancy rats not wild/sewer rats.
Appealing? Absolutely. They're the best small animals I've ever owned (and I've owned almost all of them!)


I currently own 3, one who I may wind up losing soon. :(


You may not be a fan of them, but once you meet one that shows you how affectionate %26amp; sweet they can really be, it's hard to deny them.


The only downside to them, is their lifespan is way too short for such an amazing pet.
I have had rats as pets for many years. They are extremely intellegent and love to be held.





Most people see pet rats as having diseases, dirty, and mean. None of these are true. Rats are very clean animals, and they dont stink.





I have enjoyed my rats company. They knew commands and were great pets.

Only dumbo rats because they are absolutely adorable! I love mine and he's highly intelligent to boot.
