Hairless rats are rats, just hairless. Like there are dumbos or rex, they all live 2-3 years. Hairless in particular do need some special care. They need more protien (and food in general) to keep warm. And they can be easily scratched by other rats which may lead to a higher risk of infection since their immune systems are weaker. For these reasons, their life may result to be shorter than the average rat's.How long do hairless pet rats live???
Unfortunately, rats only live 2-3 years, regardless of what type they are. That's about average for most small animals.
if properly taken care of they can live as long as any other rat.
