Why do my rats do this?

The males keep running after the females and jumping on top of them.

The females spend a lot of time building a big nestWhy do my rats do this?
It sounds like your males have mated your females and they are almost assuredly pregnant. Rats are prolific breeders and can produce a litter every 3-5 weeks if left with males! I would separate them immediately; your females are most likely pregnant already but if you separate them you can avoid future litters. Even if you are trying to breed them it is not a good idea to leave the male in with the female as it will cause her to be bred 24 hours after she delivers the litter and that can be very stressful on both her and both litters of babies. If you want your rats to all live together you will have to get your males neutered or your females spayed. Good luck with your rats! Why do my rats do this?
SEPARATE THEM its not fair to let them breed i you cant even tell that they aremating

youu wont know what o do when they give birth n the babies will die

sooo separte males and females for now
Because they are mating. Be prepared for around 12 pups per litter.

Why would you keep males and females together??
I suggest you separate the males and females unless you want babies
ITS MATING SEASON!!!

lol, the guys are humping the girls.

and the girls are mAking a nest to live in

o.O
spay or neuter them. yes it's possible and it will stop them from humping.
