i work at a pet store and we sell rats/mice as food but i always wondered what do people do to them if their pet won't eat them??? i shutter to think of the options but i really want to know. ::don't try to purposely gross me out, i can handle it. i want honest answers only:So what do you live feeders do to the mice and rats that your reptile doesn't eat? ?
When I had my rescue Ball Python who absolutely would not eat frozen, whenever I got mice and he wouldn't eat them I would just keep them in a spare tank and take care of them, feed them, give them water etc. And I'd just keep offering it until the snake would eat it. The two mice I had when the snake died(he was a rescue with multiple problems including symptoms of neuro issues), I gave the mice to someone who had a daughter that ended up keeping them as pets.
The snake I have now I actually bought and she eats frozen/thawed mice like a beast so I'm pretty happy I don't have to deal with live mice anymore. I always felt bad, plus they're costly. So what do you live feeders do to the mice and rats that your reptile doesn't eat? ?
save them till they do get eaten or keep thems pets
