How to kill rats---HELP!?

I have a friend whose house has become INFESTED with rats. I don't care how I kill them---I am staying there for a week and I will kill them, drown them, shoot them, poison them...there is an elderly dog and an elderly cat there and they must not be harmed...suggestions?How to kill rats---HELP!?
We had this problem a few years ago only it wasn鈥檛 in the house but rather near the chicken coops, garden, and rabbit hatches. There were three things that worked for us. The most effective way for us was getting our cat. But, our cat is a natural fighter. Another way that works is poison but you have to be careful that nothing can get into it besides the rat and mice. The way that I like the most is those vermin traps. They don鈥檛 actually break the animal鈥檚 leg. Rather the animal goes into the trap to get the food and the trap shuts. You can also try the regular rattraps but I haven鈥檛 had them work nearly as well. Another thing that you may find that works is the sticky glue trap that you put in the ceiling.


They love peanut butter and chicken grain, not just cheese.

I just rid my house of mice and rats. It took


poison to do the trick. Put the poison where the


pets can't get at it.( like in the holes in the walls).


In a few days the dying rodents will come staggering out and you can get rid of them.


In about a week and a half I was rodent free.
Smoke bombs and a shot gun! lots of fun! wear goggles and be carfull not to shoot the dog and cat
turn a snake loose in the house......oh wait...it may try to eat the cat and dog too....good luck.
Put them all in a fish tank and bring them to my house
