Cud i use a glass jar/glass(fish)bowl/clean jar as a digging box for my baby rats?

also i wud like 2 know if i cud use a pvc pipe for them 2 play hide n seek and cud i leave tht pipe n d jar(digging box)permanently in d cage or should i bring those out at times or d time they r asleep?Cud i use a glass jar/glass(fish)bowl/clean jar as a digging box for my baby rats?
ya u can use a pvc pipe 4 ur rats 2 njoy.its fully safe.just try 2 cover up any sharp edges with plastic tape.otherwise it shld b just f9.

do leave d pipe at a corner of d cage coz they just love running in n out thru tht.(hope u got a big cage).

yes u can of course use a glass jar or a bowl as a digging box but if its a clear jar/bowl then tht wud mk a gr8 site 4 u but not a v gud toy 4 ur rats 2 b in i hope.y i said so coz clear glass jars r transparent n will allow light 2 pass thru it which might really upset d moody rats as they lk dark, damp n messy playgrounds.try 2 use a opaque glass jar or a cardboard box or a wooden box instead of a transparent glass jar.(if its a glass jar do not leAVE IT late in d cage as they might start chewing it up)

all d best 2 u n ur rats!Cud i use a glass jar/glass(fish)bowl/clean jar as a digging box for my baby rats?
Well, i think it depends on how big the glass container is.

If it's just a jar, then i say no. A jar just isn't big enough to allow room for playing and frolicking, even for babies.

It would be helpful if you could give us the dimensions, or post a picture.

If it's big enough you can use it as a digging box. I would take it out of the cage if they aren't playing with it, because they would make quite a mess. Digging boxes are good in bathtubs, where the mess is easy to clean.

I don't exactly understand what your are saying with the whole pvc pipe question, could you rephrase and try spelling? that would help me better answer your question.

:D books books books
You could,

I'd advise to only have the digging box out when you are around them just in case.
