How do i stop my big cats from eating rats mices?

cats are natural born killers. if you give them more food they may just kill the rats %26amp; not eat them. But they may like fresh meat.

Your cat shouldn't be wandering outside. It could come in contact with diseases from hanging around stray cats and also from catching dirty rats. Plus it could be injured by vehicles or other animals. Cats and Dogs are meant to be house pets. Cats are great at catching mice/rats. A lot of farmers have cats for that very reason.
i agree with mike really you cant my cat is 18 years old and still hunts them down ...hes not as quick as he use to be but he still trys hard ... when he gets out in the morning i watch him he goes right too the woods and just lays there waiting lol cats Instinct is something you cant change....sorry...
