Will two young male rats figh in a brand new cage?

i want rats but i ran into this problem with my dwarf hamstersWill two young male rats figh in a brand new cage?
Most likely not. Rats are MUCH, MUCH, MUCH more social than hamsters. Just to be sure, you should adopt (hopefully) the two rats as a pair. Don't adopt two rats who don't know each other, and if you do, introduce them outside of the cage first. Will two young male rats figh in a brand new cage?
All male rats do not fight each other. They will go through a little bit of dominance fighting in the beginning, but this is not real fighting and is not harmful. It is definitely the best idea to get 2 males from the same litter or the same group, as this almost guarantees no fighting, but it is not a prerequisite. It is also much easier if they are not the same size when you introduce 2 strange rats to each other. Preferably not a baby to an adult, but more like a 2 month old to a 1 month old. Thats what I did with my 2 boys and they have never fought each other.
Rats usually get along fine. They're social animals, which is one reason they make such great companions. Sure, they sometimes get into squabbles, but don't we all? If you adopt your rats together, they'll already be bonded so you shouldn't have any problem.
Only put them together in the same cage if they are from the same litter or have grown up together. All male animals are very dominant, and territorial. If they don't get along you will have to get a seperate cage.
male rats will always fight when they come of age.. its a dominance thingif you must have two males, put them in different cages
maybe...
